Goodbye to a longstanding church and choir member

March 25, 2025

At the end of our Sunday morning service this week (23rd March), we said goodbye to a long standing member of Keston Parish Church, Tonia Crouch.

Tonia has been a loyal member of the Church Choir for 22 years, served at least three stints on the PCC, compiled and run many fund raising quizzes, read in church, lead the prayers, helped at Messy Church, sold beautiful hand made cards in aid of the Church, and more recently acted as Verger at Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals – and much much more!

We presented Tonia with Garden Vouchers from all her friends in the congregation, together with more vouchers from the PCC. She received a large card signed by the congregation and official choir certificates plus an original Richard Geiger cartoon leaving card from the choir. We all enjoyed refreshments after the service including some tasty tray bake cakes and a gluten free cupcake especially for Tonia!

She will be greatly missed, but we wish her and David, her husband, every happiness in their new home in Wiltshire.
