We would like to welcome you to our service today, especially if you are a visitor. We invite you to join us at Holy Communion to receive the bread and wine, symbols of God’s love for us.  If you do not wish to receive Holy Communion, please do come up for a blessing, just keep your hands by your side as you come to the rail.  If you use a hearing aid, please put it to the “T” setting.  Please do join us for a cup of tea or coffee in the Hall after the 10 am service.

Please keep the weekend of 10th/11th June free for lots of fun while we celebrate the 25th Anniversary of our Church Hall.  There will be an art exhibition;  flower exhibition celebrating 25 years; bottle tombola;  items for sale;  Church quiz sheet;  Lucky dip for dogs, with the winner having a doggy hamper and their dog’s photograph in the magazine; and “A celebration in Song” sing-along with all our favourite celebration songs.  We will also be serving refreshments during the weekend.  Please see the sign up sheets if you can help in any way.  Please  bring in raffle prizes, bottles (from wine to a bottle of fizz!)  also can you all bring in a couple of jam jars filled with sweets for the children’s Jam Jar tombola – and start baking!

PET SERVICE SUNDAY 7TH MAY @ 10 am.  Do come along with your pet for this non communion family friendly service.  We will be thanking God for our wonderful companions and they will each receive a blessing.

PARISH BOUNDARY WALK  - SUNDAY 7TH MAY @ 2.15 pm in Church Car Park – Please join us for a 2 hour leisurely walk with or without your dog, followed by sandwiches, cakes and tea, in the Church Hall.  All welcome!

MAGAZINE MATERIAL – Sunday 7th May is the last date for magazine material for the June/July edition of the Keston Magazine.  Please give articles to Sally Churchus  

PRAYER WALKS – Every 1ST Tuesday of the month -  our next walk is on Tuesday  2nd May and then 6th June Please come along with or without a dog, and we all have a good chatter, and then stop, reflect and pray at several intervals along the way,  we start at 9.30 am on Commonside near the Rectory – we often end up having a nice cup of tea!

MIDWEEK COMMUNION  - During the Interregnum there will be NO Wednesday 10 am service. 

CHRISTIAN AID WEEK 14th  – 20th  MAY – It’s that time again – and if you have some spare time, please see Tricia  to help with this Charity.

BOOK READING FELLOWSHIP – Please come along to Sally Churchus home @ 103 Gravel Road on Monday 15th May @ 2 pm to hear about books we have read from the Library.   Don’t worry if you have not read any books, you may be inspired to after hearing others’ experiences.  All are very welcome!

MEDITATION GROUP – Every 3rd Monday –  15th May & 19th June.  We begin at 7.30 pm in the Church or church hall.  All are very welcome, to take time out from our busy lives.


HEALING & WHOLENESS (H&W) - Every 3rd Sunday,  we offer healing and wholeness prayers for all who may like the benefit of a special prayer,  just after taking Communion, in the foyer.  Dates are Sundays and 21st May & 18th June   At these services we will also serve non-alcoholic grape juice to open the sacrament up to all our worshippers, especially those allergic to alcohol.

KESTON KRAFTERS – Do you enjoy craft making?  Come along to our sessions on the 3rd Thursday of the month on Thursday 18th May & 15th June @ 10am – 12 noon in the Keston Parish Church Hall.  Do bring along your own art or craft project, or join in with trying a new one.  Cost will be £3 per session + craft workshop materials on the day, which will include coffee/tea and biscuits.

ARCHDEACONRY PRAYER EVENT – Monday 22nd May @ 7.30 pm @ St. Peter & St. Paul Bromley Parish Church, Church Road, Bromley BR2 0EG.  All are welcome!

NEXT MESSY CHURCH – Tuesday 23rd May  from 3.30 pm – 6 pm for craft, worship and a lovely high tea with home made cakes!  All welcome!

GARDENING DATE – SATURDAY  3RD JUNE FROM 10am – Please come along and help with some gardening in our Churchyard, do please bring any tools you may need.

PUB SOCIALS – Our next Pub social will be on Wednesday 7th June at the King’s Arms, Leaves Green @ 7.30 pm.  Please do come along  – all are very welcome!

COUNTRYSIDE DAY – Sunday 25th June on Keston Common

TOILET TWINNING – Thank you to everyone who contributed towards the Toilet Twinning – we have helped build a latrine and offered health education to 2 villages – one in the Democratic Republic of Congo and one in Uganda.  So 1 certificate will be going up in the Ladies and 1 in the gents!

REMEMBER to use your Village Store – Please be sure to visit and buy from Keston Village Shop, their range has increased and is very extensive.  Please do pop in and buy, it is so convenient and as the old saying goes – use it or loose it!
