WELCOME
We would like to welcome you to our service today, especially if you are a visitor. We invite you to join us at Holy Communion to receive the bread and wine, symbols of God’s love for us (except for the 10 am service on the first Sunday of every month.)  If you do not wish to receive Holy Communion, please do come up for a blessing, just keep your hands by your side as you come to the rail.  If you use a hearing aid, please put it to the “T” setting.  Please do join us for a cup of tea or coffee in the Hall after the 10 am service.

MIDWEEK COMMUNION  - During the Interregnum there will be NO Wednesday 10 am service. 

PRAYER WALKS – Every 1ST Tuesday of the month -  Tuesday 3rd April, and 1st May.  Please come along with or without a dog, and we all have a good chatter, and then stop, reflect and pray at several intervals along the way, we start at 9.30 am on Commonside near the old Rectory – we often end up having a nice cup of tea/coffee!

HEALING & WHOLENESS (H&W) - Every 3rd Sunday,  we offer healing and wholeness prayers for all who may like the benefit of a special prayer,  just after taking Communion, in the foyer.  Dates are Sundays 15th  April and 20th May.

APCM – Sunday 15th April –  with buffet lunch @ £6 – Please be sure to put your name down and secure your place.  At the meeting we elect various officers, and new PCC members – please see Tricia or the Churchwardens if you are interested in being part of the PCC

ARE YOU ON THE ELECTORTAL ROLL?  If you want to participate in the APCM and its proceedings, you need to be on the Church Electoral Roll.  Please see John Paddle our Electoral Officer for more information.

MEDITATION GROUP – Every 3rd Monday –  16th April & 21st May.  We begin at 7.30 pm in the Church or church hall.  All are very welcome, to take time out from our busy lives.

LIFT Ladies get together – Wednesday 18th April @ Herbert’s for a buffet dinner @ 7.30 pm.  Please ask your friends to join you! Approx £25 per person, and put your name on the list!

MEN’S PUB SOCIAL – These happen every 3rd Wednesday of the month – and the next one is  18th April at the Greyhound Pub @ 7.30 pm.   All men are very welcome.  More details from Martin Becker.

PUB SOCIALS – Our next Pub social will be @ 7.30 pm Wednesday 25th April at The Greyhound, and then Monday 11th June at The Fox Please do come along  for a meal, or a couple of drinks  – all are very welcome!

NEXT DATE FOR BOOK READING FELLOWSHIP –
Please come along to Sally Churchus home @ 103 Gravel Road on Monday 30th April @ 2 pm to hear about books we have read from the Library.   Don’t worry if you have not read any books, you may be inspired to after hearing others’ experiences, and come along for a chat! 

PARISH WALK (BEATING THE BOUNDS) Sunday 6th May @ 2.15 pm  Meet in Keston Church Car Park, takes about 2 hours, and finishes back at the Church hall for tea and cakes.  Dogs welcome!

WELCARE IN BROMLEY – GRAND RAFFLE – prizes include a £100 theatre voucher, £50 voucher for Sea Salt, 6 x yoga classes, and many more.  Tickets £1 from Caroline Cook.

CAN YOU SPARE A FEW HOURS EVERY 2 WEEKS?  Welcare in Bromley are currently in urgent need of volunteer Child Mentors.  Mentors are matched with a child aged 8 to 13.  Mentors are given full training and support, activity and travel expenses are paid for by Welcare.  Please call 0207 820 7910 or email volunteering@welcare.org

WELCARE ARE LOOKING FOR NEW TRUSTEES – to help deliver their strategic aims and to ensure that Welcare has the resources to continue its work supporting vulnerable children and families.  A full trustee role description and person specification can be found on their website.  Email Diane Taylor at info@welcare.org.
