We would like to welcome you to our service today, especially if you are a visitor. We invite you to join us at Holy Communion to receive the bread and wine, symbols of God’s love for us (except for the 10 am service on the first Sunday of every month.)  If you do not wish to receive Holy Communion, please do come up for a blessing, just keep your hands by your side as you come to the rail.  If you use a hearing aid, please put it to the “T” setting.  Please do join us for a cup of tea or coffee in the Hall after the 10 am service.

MIDWEEK COMMUNION  - During the Interregnum there will be NO Wednesday 10 am service. 

PRAYER WALKS – Every 1ST Tuesday of the month -  Tuesday 4th September & 2nd October.  Please come along with or without a dog, and we all have a good chatter, and then stop, reflect and pray at several intervals along the way, we start at 9.30 am on Commonside near the old Rectory – we often end up having a nice cup of tea/coffee!

KESTON MAGAZINE DEADLINE – Sunday 9th September is the last date for magazine material to be given to Sally Churchus on tel:  020 8462 8750 or  

HEALING & WHOLENESS (H&W) - Every 3rd Sunday,  we offer healing and wholeness prayers for all who may like the benefit of a special prayer,  just after taking Communion, in the foyer.  Dates are Sundays 16th September & 21st October.

LEST WE FORGET - ST. GEORGE’S RAF REMEMBRANCE CHAPEL & GARDENS, BIGGIN HILL – DESIGNATED OPEN DAY – SUNDAY 16TH SEPTEMBER 2018 12 – 3 PM.   The Friends of St. George’s RAF Chapel will be hosing the Designated Open Day on the above date, please visit on this very important day for the Chapel as it is Battle of Britain Sunday.  There will be tea, coffee and cake available and a smiling face to greet you.  Access to ashes in the garden as usual via Margaret Wilmot 01959 575197

MEDITATION GROUP – Every 3rd Monday – 17th September & 15th October. We begin at 7.30 pm in the Church or church hall.  All are very welcome, to take time out from our busy lives.

MEN’S PUB SOCIAL – These happen every 3rd Wednesday of the month – and the next one is  19th September at the Greyhound Pub @ 7.30 pm.   All men are very welcome.  More details from Martin Becker.

PUB SOCIALS – Our next Pub social will be @ 7.30 pm  on  Wednesday 26th September @ the Greyhound.  Please do come along  for a meal, or a couple of drinks  – all are very welcome!
CHURCHYARD AND CHURCH WORKING PARTY – SATURDAY  /////// - After our last successful morning, we would like as many as possible to come and help with jobs in the Churchyard, but also dusting high places in the Church!  Please come along with your tools, all will be welcome, and tea/coffee and squash will be provided!  10 am – 12 noon.  Thank you!

HARVEST FESTIVAL will be on Sunday 7th October at 10am. We will once again be supporting Welcare in Bromley by collecting Supermarket Gift Cards for needy families,  for Sainsbury’s or Tesco’s, in low denominations - £5 or £10. We are also collecting certain dried foods for use at the Project 5000 in Bromley URC for their weekly lunch where the homeless or those with mental issues, learning difficulties, alcohol or drug addictions or those just needing company can come and have a meal as well as access support, advice and information. They ONLY need:  rice, tinned chopped tomatoes, pulses, plain and self-raising flour, caster sugar, demerara or soft brown sugar and herbs and spices. Thank you.
HARVEST LUNCH will be on Sunday 7th October at 1 pm.  Tickets £16, please bring your own drinks and glasses

NEXT DATE FOR BOOK READING FELLOWSHIP – Please come along to Sally Churchus home @ 103 Gravel Road on Monday 8th October @ 2 pm to  discuss books with some Christian content, either from the church library or your own.

NEW SERIES IN THE MAGAZINE -  We want to start a new series called 'What I do', featuring people describing their jobs, be it their career or a voluntary role, or an interesting hobby or similar. How they came to do it, what it involves and what they enjoy about it etc. Sally Churchus and Marilynn Clipston need the congregation to tell them names of people, (either themselves), or others who might be of interest and who could possibly be approached. Thank you.
