WELCOME
We would like to welcome you to our service today, especially if you are a visitor. We invite you to join us at Holy Communion to receive the bread and wine, symbols of God’s love for us.  If you do not wish to receive Holy Communion, please do come up for a blessing, just keep your hands by your side as you come to the rail.  If you use a hearing aid, please put it to the “T” setting.  Please do join us for a cup of tea or coffee in the Hall after the 10 am service.

BEREAVEMENT SERVICE & TEA – Sunday 5th November @ 3pm.  Do come along to this reflective service to remember your loved ones that have passed away.  There is a list at the back of the Church for you to add the names of your loved ones, which will be read out during this service. There will be tea/coffee and home made cakes after the service.

KESTON MAGAZINE DEC/JAN EDITION - The last date for magazine material to be in by for the Dec/Jan edition of the mag is Sunday 5th November.  Please give all articles to Sally Churchus

MIDWEEK COMMUNION  - During the Interregnum there will be NO Wednesday 10 am service. 

PRAYER WALKS – Every 1ST Tuesday of the month -  our next walk is on 7th November & then 5th December. Please come along with or without a dog, and we all have a good chatter, and then stop, reflect and pray at several intervals along the way, we start at 9.30 am on Commonside near the old Rectory – we often end up having a nice cup of tea/coffee!

REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY SERVICE AND WALK – Sunday 12th November, starting with a short service in church @ 10 am, then gather together at the Village sign, to walk back to the War Memorial for prayers and the observance of the two minute silence at 11 am.

CHARITY PREVIEW OF ALAN BENNETT’S “TALKING HEADS” FOR WELCARE IN BROMLEY – Thursday 9th November @ 7.45 pm at Bromley Little Theatre.  Tickets in advance from Gillian Scales.

 NSPCC CHRISTMAS COFFEE MORNING ON Friday 10th November has had to be cancelled.

NEXT DATE FOR BOOK READING FELLOWSHIP – Please come along to Sally Churchus home @ 103 Gravel Road on Monday 13th November @ 2 pm to hear about books we have read from the Library.   Don’t worry if you have not read any books, you may be inspired to after hearing others’ experiences. 

MEN’S PUB SOCIAL – These happen every 3rd Wednesday of the month – and the next one is Wednesday 15th November at the Greyhound Pub @ 7.30 pm.   All men are very welcome.  More details from Martin Becker.

QUIZ NIGHT AND FISH & CHIP SUPPER – Saturday 18th November @ 7.30 pm – Tickets £12.  Please bring your own drinks and glasses.

HEALING & WHOLENESS (H&W) - Every 3rd Sunday,  we offer healing and wholeness prayers for all who may like the benefit of a special prayer,  just after taking Communion, in the foyer.  Dates are Sundays 19th November  & 16th DecemberPlease note we will be having Communion Wine from October, and not the grape juice, on the 3rd Sunday.

MEDITATION GROUP – Every 3rd Monday – 20th November & 18th December.  We begin at 7.30 pm in the Church or church hall.  All are very welcome, to take time out from our busy lives.

WELCARE IN BROMLEY – invite all to celebrate their work with vulnerable children at a Service of Thanksgiving at Bromley Parish Church, Bromley, BR2 0EG on Tuesday 21st November at 11.30 am.
Welcare in Bromley would like to thank Keston Church for their generous Harvest Festival gifts of food and supermarket gift cards - 7 bags/ boxes of requested food items to Project 5000 homeless charity and similar amount of other foodstuffs to Bromley Foodbank. Also £205 worth of supermarket gift cards for Welcare.

PUB SOCIALS – Our next Pub social will be @ 7.30 pm, on Wednesday 22nd November @ the Greyhound.  Please do come along  for a meal, or a couple of drinks  – all are very welcome!

 MESSY CHURCH – TUESDAY 28TH NOVEMBER FROM 3.30pm – Please come along for fun, crafts, worship and a high tea – bring your friends – all ages welcome!

KESTON SINGERS CHRISTMAS CONCERT – Saturday 2nd December at 7 pm - Tickets £7.50 which includes light refreshments.  All profits will go to the Alzheimer’s Society. Tickets available from Choir Members or Maureen Marshall 01689 857260.

TOY SERVICE ON SUNDAY 3RD DECEMBER @ 10am -  Donations of toys and gift cards for Welcare gratefully received, details on noticeboard of suggested items, but please no soft toys or WH Smith gift cards.

KESTON VILLAGE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS – At the Greyhound Pub 3rd December from 3.30 – 5.30pm with Santa’s Grotto, festive stalls, raffle & entertainment.

CAROL SERVICE – Sunday 17th December  @ 6.30

CHRISTMAS FLOWER ARRANGING WORKSHOP – Tuesday 19th December @ 2.30 pm, please put your name on the list, or tell Maureen Marshall.

Merciful God, as we trust in your love;
Increase our faith, feed us with your word and strengthen us
for service.  Bless our community.  Make this place holy, to heal and transform all who come.
