WELCOME
We would like to welcome you to our service today, especially if you are a visitor. We invite you to join us at Holy Communion to receive the bread and wine, symbols of God’s love for us (except for the 10 am service on the first Sunday of every month.)  If you do not wish to receive Holy Communion, please do come up for a blessing, just keep your hands by your side as you come to the rail.  If you use a hearing aid, please put it to the “T” setting.  Please do join us for a cup of tea or coffee in the Hall after the 10 am service.

PARISH WALK (BEATING THE BOUNDS) Sunday 6th May @ 2.15 pm  Meet in Keston Church Car Park, takes about 2 hours, and finishes back at the Church hall for tea and cakes.  Dogs welcome!

MIDWEEK COMMUNION  - During the Interregnum there will be NO Wednesday 10 am service. 

PRAYER WALKS – Every 1ST Tuesday of the month -  Tuesday 1st May & 5th June.  Please come along with or without a dog, and we all have a good chatter, and then stop, reflect and pray at several intervals along the way, we start at 9.30 am on Commonside near the old Rectory – we often end up having a nice cup of tea/coffee!


CHURCHYARD & CHURCH WORKING PARTY –  Saturday 12th May 10 am – 1pm.  Come along and join the fun of helping with a Spring clean – lots of jobs, and tea, coffee and cake to keep you going!  Or do join us to encourage the workers!

Keston Magazine – the deadline for all articles for the June/July issue is Sunday 13th May.  Please give to Sally Churchus, 020 8462 8750 or sally.churchus@btinternet.com   The Magazine will be out for delivery on 27th May, please deliver them as soon as possible after collection.  Thank you.

CHRISTIAN AID WEEK – 13th – 19th May – If anyone is able to help with this Charity, please speak to Tricia.

MEN’S PUB SOCIAL – These happen every 3rd Wednesday of the month – and the next one is  16th May at the Greyhound Pub @ 7.30 pm.   All men are very welcome.  More details from Martin Becker.

HEALING & WHOLENESS (H&W) - Every 3rd Sunday,  we offer healing and wholeness prayers for all who may like the benefit of a special prayer,  just after taking Communion, in the foyer.  Dates are Sundays  20th May & 17th June.

FLOWER ARRANGING LADIES – Please come to a short get together after the 10 am Sunday Service @ 11.30 am on 20th May to talk about the way forward.

MEDITATION GROUP – Every 3rd Monday –   21st May & 18th June.  We begin at 7.30 pm in the Church or church hall.  All are very welcome, to take time out from our busy lives.

PUB SOCIALS – Our next Pub socials will be @ 7.30 pm  Monday 11th June @ The Fox;  Tuesday 7th August @ The Crown;  Wednesday 26th September @ the Greyhound.  Please do come along  for a meal, or a couple of drinks  – all are very welcome!

NEXT DATE FOR BOOK READING FELLOWSHIP – Please come along to Sally Churchus home @ 103 Gravel Road on Monday 18th June @ 2 pm to  discuss books with some Christian content, either from the church library or your own'.

WELCARE IN BROMLEY – GRAND RAFFLE – prizes include a £100 theatre voucher, £50 voucher for Sea Salt, 6 x yoga classes, and many more.  Tickets £1 from Caroline Cook.

CAN YOU SPARE A FEW HOURS EVERY 2 WEEKS?  Welcare in Bromley are currently in urgent need of volunteer Child Mentors.  Mentors are matched with a child aged 8 to 13.  Mentors are given full training and support, activity and travel expenses are paid for by Welcare.  Please email volunteering@welcare.org

WELCARE ARE LOOKING FOR NEW TRUSTEES – to help deliver their strategic aims and to ensure that Welcare has the resources to continue its work supporting vulnerable children and families.  A full trustee role description and person specification can be found on their website.  Email Diane Taylor at info@welcare.org.

HELP NEEDED – If there is anyone who would be able to help out occasionally by hoovering and dusting the Church, we would be most grateful.  Please ask the Churchwardens or Tricia for more information.  Thank you!

KESTON SINGERS SUMMER CONCERT – Saturday 16th June.  More details to follow.

COUNTRYSIDE DAY – Sunday 24th June.  Please can you start collecting jam jars and filling them with sweets – these are for the children for a sweet Tombola!  They went so well last year and the children loved them!  Thank you!
