WELCOME - We would like to welcome you to our service today, especially if you are a visitor. We invite you to join us at Holy Communion to receive the bread and wine, symbols of God’s love for us.  If you do not wish to receive Holy Communion, please come up for a blessing, just keep your hands by your side as you come to the rail.  If you use a hearing aid, please put it to the “T” setting.  Please do join us for a cup of tea/coffee and biscuits in the Hall after the 10 am Sunday service.

NEW PATTERN OF WORSHIP –
1st Sunday in the month (1st Sep) an ‘All Age’ Communion service @ 10.00 am, still shorter and child friendly!  (We will no longer have a Sunday Communion Service at 8.00 am). 
1st Tuesday (3rd Sep) prayer walk @ 9.30 am outside on the green at the old Rectory. We then end up at Greyhound at 10.45am when we have a ‘cuppa’. The Greyhound is now putting on breakfast for us, if you would like to join us for this please let Carol or Tricia know, so we have an idea of numbers. 
2nd Wednesday of the month (11th Sep) mid-week Communion @ 10.30 am.
3rd Monday of the month (16th Sep)  Meditation @ 7.30 pm. 
4th Tuesday of the month (24th Sep) -  Home Group @ the Rectory 7.30 pm.

PRAYER WALKS – Every 1ST Tuesday of the month, Tuesday 3rd Sep & 1st October. Please come along with or without a dog, and we all have a good chatter, and then stop, reflect and pray at several intervals along the way, we start at 9.30 am on Commonside near the old Rectory. We then end up at Greyhound at 10.45am when we have a ‘cuppa’. The Greyhound is now putting on breakfast for us, if you would like to join us for this please let Carol or Tricia know so we have an idea of numbers.  Thank you!

BOOK READING FELLOWSHIP – After an August break, we will be having our next Book Reading Fellowship Group on Monday 9th September @ 2 pm at Sally Churchus home @ 103 Gravel Road, Bromley Common.  We discuss books we have read, have a good chat, then have tea and cake. Don’t worry if you have not read any books, you may be inspired to after hearing others’ experiences!   All are welcome!

HEALING & WHOLENESS (H&W) - Every 3rd Sunday on 15th September, we offer healing and wholeness prayers, [and a blessing with oil], for all who may like the benefit of a special prayer, just after Communion.

MEDITATION GROUP – Every 3rd Monday - 16th September & 21st October.  We begin at 7.30 pm in the Church or church hall.  All are very welcome, to take time out from our busy lives. 

MEN’S PUB SOCIAL – These happen every 3rd Wednesday of the month – and the next one is 18th Sep & 16th Oct at the Greyhound Pub @ 7.30 pm.

FRIENDS OF WELCARE IN BROMLEY QUIZ NIGHT – Saturday 21st September, 7.15 for 7.30 pm, at St. Mary’s Church Hall, Shortlands, BR2 OHG.  Tickets £7 from Gill Hollamby 07930 975346 (bring your own refreshments) 6 – 8 per table – make up a table or just come along on the night to join on another table!

PUB SOCIALS – Our next Pub social will be @ 7.30 pm on Monday 23rd September at the Fox. Please do come along for a meal, or just a couple of drinks – all are very welcome!

PET SERVICE – SUNDAY 29TH SEPTEMBER @ 3 PM – Please come along to this pet friendly informal service and bring your pet – to thank God for all our pets (past and present) and to recognize the wonderful contribution they make to many people’s lives.  A member of staff from Foal Farm will give a short talk about the animals in their care, and all the work they do to find new loving homes for all the animals.  A retiring collection will be taken for the work of Foal Farm.  There will be tea/coffee and cakes after the service, as well as dog biscuits and lettuce leaves for tortoises!

HARVEST DONATIONS @ HARVEST FESTIVAL SERVICE ON SUNDAY 6TH OCTOBER – As in previous years we have split our requests!  Welcare in Bromley would like money donations this year (not gift cards);  and the following food items are urgently needed for Bromley Borough Foodbank:  UHT Milk, Tinned of the following -  soup, carrots, peas, green beans, potatoes, chunky chicken, stewed steak, meatballs, minced beef, corned beef, ham, meat free Bolognese, macaroni cheese, chick peas, kidney beans, rice pudding, custard, fruit;  cartons of the following – custard, jellies, instant whips, long life fruit juice;  jars of the following – jam, marmalade, cooking sauces.  Also any toiletries:  shampoo, shower gel, deodorant, toilet rolls, washing up liquid, washing detergent, etc.  Thank you for your generosity!
HARVEST LUNCH – SUNDAY 6TH OCTOBER – We will be having our usual Harvest Lunch on the Sunday @ 1 pm.  Tickets will be available shortly and will be £16 per person. 
MESSY CHURCH – Tuesday 8th October at 3.30 – 6 pm.  Come along for lots of fun and crafts, followed by a short act of worship in church, then finishing with a High Tea.  Free admission, but donations towards costs much appreciated.

ATTENTION ALL FLOWER ARRANGERS – Keston Parish Church is very fortunate to have a very creative team of flower arrangers who every week provide a wonderful and varied arrangement in our Church and foyer.  They also participate in arranging all the flowers for the major Christian festivals, e.g., Easter, Harvest and Christmas.  If you love flowers and interested in helping and joining the team, please do see Pam Thomas or Tricia.  Thank you!
